The 969 BBC TV Extending Mast Vehicle has this part fitted to the top of the mast. Check that your mast has the triangular base with a round hole for fitting. If not you also purchase the separate base mount fitting our part ref DK00959.

This part also suits the earlier version of the 988 ABC TV Transmitter Van with the round hole in the roof. The earlier issues of that model have a simple triangular hole and need the dish base fitting to adapt to the round pin.
