Matchbox Lesney 1-75 Racing Car 52 b BRM 19 d Lotus Tires Set of 4 Black Tyres Pack #9

A pack of 4 tyres to suit Matchbox Lesney racing cars. These models, like the ones shown, have slightly larger tyres on the rear and thinner on the front. A set suits 1 car, later issue models 19d Lotus and 52 BRM in blue or orange.

The models are for display purposes only and are not for sale or included in this. Individual tyres are also available. The smaller one is Y066 and the larger Y095 both under Tyres->Matchbox.

Approximate dimensions larger / rear tyre: 14mm OD : 7mm ID : 4mm thick with a faint fine tread to the outer edges.

Approximate dimensions smaller / front tyre: 12mm OD: 8mm ID: 3mm thick with a faint fine tread to the outer edges.

Note that the plastic hubs are prone to shrinking over time and these tyres are made to fit hubs with some shrinkage. So they may be tight or loose depending on your hubs. Use a drop of super glue if loose and a piece of emery paper on the ID of the tyre if they are tight. Warm water also helps to heat the tyre and hub during fitting.
